Localisedcryotherapy is a targeted form of cold therapy in which a controlled stream ofcold CO₂ is applied to a specific area of the body. Unlike whole-bodycryotherapy, the treatment is focused on one particular area, allowingpractitioners to incorporate cooling into an existing treatment orrehabilitation programme.

Thismakes the technology a natural fit for physiotherapy, sports treatment andequine care, where cold therapy is already widely used. It is important to notethat localised cryotherapy is not a replacement for conventional physiotherapy,rehabilitation or veterinary treatment. Instead, the equipment is anotherpractical tool that suitably qualified practitioners can add to their existingservices.

TruCryois now looking to develop relationships with local and regional practitionersas it expands the availability of the system. Every TruCryo system will besupported by online training, treatment guidance and access to ongoing onlinechat and telephone support.
